The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) UofT is proud to host Molly Beckel, YPAC’s (Young Pipeliners Association of Canada) incoming president, a TC Energy Marketing Representative and former facility and reliability engineer. Join us for an evening at WB258 from 6:15PM-7:30PM to discover invaluable insights into pursuing a career in the pipeline industry and explore the technical aspects involved in an engineering role at TC Energy (formerly TransCanada). Participants will gain an insider’s understanding into the required skills to stand out in technical and commercial aspects of the Canadian Energy Sector. Food and refreshments will be served.

Energy Internship Panel Discussion (PEY Coffee House)

Former interns and PEY students from top energy compaines - TC Energy (TransCanada), Nexen (CN00C), Imperial Oil and Husky Energy - were present to discuss the application process, brief company overview and their tasks as a former employee. They provided valuable advice and answered questions. In addition, there was a resume workshop and resume checks/feedback.


Schlumberger Event

Schlumberger Canada's head recruiter was present to share his experience in the oil and gas industry. He also answered several questions regarding the industry and provided networking opportunities.
